reading fashiion magazines would be the ideal people to be wearing their clothing or accesories.
Primark's main type of adverising would be through methods like their shopping bags. They tend to write all their social media and places to be reached on those bags. These would be a main form of communicating to their target audience. Primark do not do any other forms of advertising. They do not make adverts for billboards of tv. They do have a website but its is a very low quality one and you are not able to order online so they would not be meeting their target audence as it would be easier for youger people to shop online as this is the new trend.
Overall both brands are so similar in what they do that they do not highly advertise much because their customers are so used to what they do.
Customers of those brands know what they want and because they are so estbalished they do not need to worry about advertising as much because they know they are always going to get customers. But if i had to choose out of the two who communicate with their target audience better it would be Chanel as they advertise in the right places where fashionable and sophisticated people would be looking as i toucher on earlier ( fashion shows and fashion magazines). Theae type of people are what the brand are trying to attract and they advertise and communicte in a way which is sure to bring them to a Chanel store. Communicating with a target audience is key within a brand to ensure that the right people are buying your clohtes. To communicate correctly you must ensure you are advertising in the right places.
