Snehil Mahajan (GP 25) The day of celebrating the 59 th Republic day at Commander Ali’s Academy was really a different one for any student who witnessed just a flag hoisting and sweets distributions. As trainee I myself feel very proud to be part of a celebration like this as this may the last time that I will be taking part. So far from the day joining this academy on 1 st Jan 2016, almost every day I participated in parade and march past on a day to day basis as this is part of training at CAAMN. But speaking about the celebration of Republic day the parade was highlight of all activities. The day for all trainees of GP 25 Batch stated as usual at 5.30 am followed hectic preparation for the day of Republic. A total of 40 students were divided in 4 groups namely PORT, STBD, FOXLE and QD for the parade and March past The Director of academy was the guest of honour on the occasion. Once the chief guest settled on to the platform flag post the flag was unfurled by director along with a chorus of our national anthem “Jana Gana Mana”. As the national anthem finished the chief guest inspected the parade which later followed by March Past of all the four groups. Later the chief Guest addressed the gathering.
