basic skills in oral communications can play a vital role in achieving success (e.g. finding a
job).
Methods and activities
We first remark that oral communication is not limited to verbal communication, which plays a
surprising minor role when compared to paraverbal and non-verbal communication.
Afterwards we may divide the attention between the giving and the receiving actors in the oral
communication process, thus splitting the course between speaking and listening skills.
Assessment
Becoming accustomed to oral communication, both listening and speaking, helps students
learn, reflect on their knowledge, and communicate their understanding; this, in turn, provides
teachers with a better feedback.
Resources
The main training for oral communication has to be in person.
Transferability
The entire module will be translated into Italian, Norwegian, Romanian, Spanish, and Turkish;
thus it will assure its usage across the globe.
