Bereavement Overview
› Bereavement counselors are licensed and / or Master ’ s level‐training clinicians specializing in grief counseling . Counselors are located in all of our service areas .
- Specially trained volunteers will also assist in supporting our bereavement programs and clients .
› Grief counseling is supportive counseling specialized to alleviate distressing emotions and provide you with the skills to cope .
› Bereavement services may include individual and / or family counseling . Types of support groups vary by service area .
› Counseling sessions are by appointment only and based on counselor availability .
