Puerto Banús, que debe este nombre a su promotor, D.
José Banús, situado a seis kilómetros del casco urbano de
Marbella, es uno de los mayores atractivos de nuestra
ciudad. Nombrado Centro de Interés Turístico Nacional, y
galardonado con la medalla de oro al Mérito Turístico, es
visitado cada año por más de cuatro millones de personas.
Port Banús, owes its name to its promotor D. José Banús,
it is situated six kilometres from the Marbella town centre,
it is one of the main attractions of your city. Named Cen-
tre of National Touristic interest and rewared with the Gold
Mercury International due to work done in favour of the
development of economic, cultural and social cooperation.
En pleno corazón del casco antiguo de Marbella se encuentra
situada una de las plazas más hermosas y populares: La Plaza
de la Iglesia, en la que se alza la Iglesia Mayor de Santa María
de la Encarnación, construida en 1505. Sobre la antigua
parroquia se construyó la actual en 1712, en ella trabajaron
Pedro del Castillo y Salvador Gávez, que en 1756 labraron la
hermosa fachada principal.
Right in the heart of Old Town Marbella you will find one of
the most beautiful and popular squares, the Santa Maria de
la Encarnación, built in 1505. The new Parish was built on
top of the old one in 1712, Pedro del Castillo and Salvador
Gávez were engaged in the constriction, and in 1756 they
sculpted the beautiful main façade
