The meal is best served with a beer, for my case I ordered my beer with mango juice on it. Yes, good thing I'm already legal enough to drink a beer or else I'm dead. But seriously their beer is not as carbonated as it taste. Actually the alcohol intent is not that high, it taste like juice. And when you drink it while eating the food it helps you desensitize the after taste.
The next time I eat in this restaurant, I will recommend this to my family since it's a lovely environment. It is for middle and high class, just a reminded to our readers to bring an extra budget because it's pricy but worth it.
For our desset we ordered Apple Strudel served with vanilla ice cream. The whole meal made my stomach full, we were all stuffed from chowing every bits and pieces of each dish.
All throughout our dining experience has been fun and it's something to tell to others. Enjoying each other's company and to forget about school. We didn't waste any time, we savor it. We even discussed what was our plans in the future and even talked about our favorite food. I think spending some quality with friends by eating and drinking (moderately) is a good way to have a happy hour. Eating in a German Restaurant is a unique way on going on a food trip. You travel to place, you explore new items and you discover the best food to taste. In the end your trip is worth to travel.
Trivia:
Apple Strudel
-The name Strudel comes from the German word for "whirlpool" or "eddy". The rolled version of the pastry looks like the inside of a whirlpool.
Originated from Austria, it is a baked puff pastry filled with apple, cinnamon, raisins and sugar mixture. Then served with vanilla ice cream on a bed of almonds.
Balanced flavors among sweetness from sugar and cinnamon. Also the thin layer of dough was tender when eaten with the ice cream, heavenly.
