Hello Glamorgan!
My name is Alex Kennedy and this is my second year as your Vice President Student Activities Officer. I want to pass on my 4 years here at Glamorgan and make your time as enjoyable as possible. We all have a big challenge which lies ahead for the up and coming year. From the success of last year I want Glamorgan to become bigger and better!
We had great success with our sports teams with them moving up 11 places in the BUCs tables
last year and we want to keep on improving more and more.
We have increased our number of teams participating by 20 teams this year so that there is more opportunity for more students to get involved.
What I want to do for YOU?
• I want to develop student activities across all 3 campuses.
• Increase students getting involved in volunteering and fundraising
within the union.
• Increase the awareness of clubs and societies so that you the students
get the student experience that you deserve.
Come and see me in your students’ union building about any questions for the up and coming year. We have an exciting year ahead together – come to fresher’s fayre on Friday 28th September and sign up for sports, clubs and societies.
