8) Learning Resources Students should have sufficient access to books, electronic material and other resources, to enable them to succeed in their studies to the best of their ability. What Students Want... E-books, online journals and information associated with technology should be widely available for students through the University collaborating with other Welsh HEAs. Sufficient resources for each degree course should also be provided. More dialogue between library and academic staff can ensure the appropriate resources get to students. Access to the library range across all campuses should be encouraged. What are the benefits... Increased resources will allow students to obtain a wider variety of sources to widen the scope of their learning experience. This will increase their chances of getting higher marks in their assignments. Working with other Welsh HEAs ensures the University can delve into a wider range of resources than the ones currently available. Communication between academics and library staff will allow more specialist resources to be accessed appropriate for individual courses. More online material means that sources stay relevant to ever-changing degrees and industries.
