U.S. Army Spc. Hung Nguyen reenlists July 4 in a UH60 Black Hawk helicopter. Nguyen is originally from Vietnam. In his family, he is the second oldest of three children (2 sisters). The Nguyen family moved to the United States when he was 12 years old, and at the age of 18, he became a U.S. citizen. At the age of 24, Nguyen enlisted in the Army. After 3 years at Fort Wainwright, Nguyen was reassigned to Wiesbaden, Germany, where he’s assigned to the 557th Area Support Medical Company, 421st Multifunctional Medical Battalion.
