the new season, elementary

students joined the
soccer team to improve
their soccer skills. Led by Mr.
Porter and Mr. Anderson, the
team aspired to reach new heights.
Elementary students from
third, fourth and fifth grade participated
in the six-week long soccer season. Although

not formally designated as captains, fifth-graders took up the leadership position and helped the
younger students improve their soccer skills.
When asked about her experience during soccer,
third-grade student Helena Chin said, “I learned how to pass
perfectly and shoot a goal.”
