Minister Mr. Peter
Lee smiles and splashes
water at Kotono Furukawa,
Sooyoung Bae, and Shubhra
Ingale. The students quickly
filled up their water guns and
fled as Mr. Lee continued to
splash any student who attempted
to fill up their water gun from that
pool.

Playing during recess, Chloe Suh and Irene Han
lock arms with one another and pretend they are on
a dance floor performing the tango. Evelyn Anderson
led the fourth grade girls into this dance session by
showing them ballet positions and arms. 2. During
the annual SEW water fight, Kai Thomas throws water at Andy Umeda using a cone. Andy was so startled that he threw his own water cone away. Students
of all ages took part in the water fight. 3. Leading
the elementary students in the song ‘God of Angel
Armies,’ Ivy Kim, Jacob Jung, and Daniel Jung sing
on the stage during worship time. The praise teams
were led by Mrs. Kilgore, who also led the students
in arm and body movements. 4. Circling around the
pool and filling up their water guns, Ayushi Gupta,
Philip Cho, Junseok Kim, Sooyoung Bae, Rein Gugol,
and Raiki Sodeokai ready themselves for the com-
mencement of the annual elementary water fight.
Preschool students Cian Harding, Ria Kishimoto,
Grace Laroche, Oliver Porter, Scott Sandefur, and Jose
Ward clap their hands together like alligators. During
Ms. Schneider’s chapel time she taught the students
arm movements to the following prayer: “I am the
head and not the tail,” reminding students they are to
be leaders for Christ. 6. Ashley Nam and Jinju Hughes
cheer in their house megaphone and encourage the
green team, the Bukhansan Bears, to chant. All students in the green team screamed their house name
and punched their fists in the air, cheering. 7. On the
first day of SEW, while students were turning in their
team game tickets for prizes, Petra Thomas played
with her team flag while Mr. Coleman held onto it.
The games played during Team Time were Otters and
Clams, King Pin, Shoe Mix Game, and Scooter Races.

as he claims his prize. Takaomi Isa, Summer
Freeman, Dhruv Bhardwaj, Rishy Rajkumar, and
Joel Varghese surrounded the table and examined the various prizes such as the rings, erasers, pencils, bracelets, silly glasses, and gliders.
9. Dharshwana Muralidhuran and Gayatri
Vadapalli spend time in mixed teams reading
books. Gayatri read a book with two stories:
‘What Mommies do Best’ and ‘What Daddies do
Best.’ In order to read the other story, she had to
flip the book upside down. 10. Standing next to
one another in chapel, Martin Kim and Joshua
Laroche follow the hand gestures of Ms. Schneider, the chapel speaker. Joshua placed his hands
on his head to symbolize that he is a leader of
Christ.
