Moving inside , it ’ s fair to say that the new stadium ’ s main talking point has been its interior design . Being wedged into a small odd-shaped space has resulted in some peculiarly angled stands and roofs and the club have also settled upon a novel colour scheme for the seats , all of which has attracted praise and criticism in equal measure .
The eclectic design of three of the stands and the sharply angled roofline between the main stand and each end are undoubtedly unusual but they do add a certain uniqueness to the overall look of the stadium . Fitting more than 17,000 seats into such a tight space called for some ingenious engineering solutions and the result is remarkable . One thing ’ s for sure , no one will accuse this stadium of being a clone .
