AULA NEWS WALKERS, WINNERS, AND A Lifesaving Walk A Mission-Driven Drive For more than 20 years, the AULA community has participated in AIDS Walk Los Angeles. In that time, we’ve raised more than $20,000 and walked roughly Since 2011, the Perpetual Food Drive has collected four tons of food, including 130 miles (That’s the distance from Los Angeles to Tijuana, Mexico!) 4,117 pounds of rice (That’s enough to fill the interior of four Prius cars!) Dill in a Box No more fighting the lines at Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s just to score some produce. Thanks to the Student Action Network, you can order boxes of local, sustainable, and organic fare and pick them up right on the AULA campus. The boxes come from SavRaw, which works directly with area farmers to bring consumers fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables like Oro Blanco grapefruit, Black Beauty eggplant, and Rainbow carrots.
