How old are you? 43
Where do you live, and where did you grow
up? I live in Burnsville MN and grew up in
Maple Grove MN
Did you have any pets growing up? We
lived on a 21 acre hobby farm, so we had
lots of goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, geese,
rabbits and a couple of cats and dogs.
Do you live with any human companions
(family and/or otherwise)? Animal
companions? I live with my Siamese mix,
Samantha, and an orange tabby, Oliver
Finn. They are the coolest cats with very
unique personalities. My Beagle, Scooter,
passed from Cancer a few years ago and I
did not handle his passing well. I needed a
lot of time to heal, so I'm waiting until I finish
school, and have a home with a fenced in
yard to get the right dog(s); A Boston Terrier,
and a rescue mix.
How long have you been grooming? 14
years
How long have you been a member of the
NAPCG? Three years. Best choice I ever
made.
Where did you first learn to groom? One
of the corporate academy programs. I did
not learn a whole lot from them. Most of
my learning has come from lots of practice,
tips from other groomers over the years,
seminars, The NAPCG, and Anna Hawks.
The NAPCG, Bullet and Anna, have been
invaluable.
