ORGANIZED GARDENING SUPPLIES
Whether you enjoy gardening as a hobby, or hur-
riedly get through it as a chore, knowing where your
gardening tools are will make the task a lot easier.
For homeowners who enjoy DIY, a simple 2x4 piece
of wood with hooks attached can be installed in your
shed or garage to hold gardening tools. For smaller
items, a tool cart, bench or utility shelf can be used
to store small gardening tools, garden soil, seeds,
plant food, planters and flower pots. Depending on
your space you can keep things simple and set up an
area in your garage, or purchase a potting shed for all
gardening supplies outdoors.

ORGANIZED SWIMMING SUPPLIES
For many families, summertime means heading to
the pool on a regular basis. Keeping track of bath-
ing suits, goggles, sun lotion and pool toys can be
a challenge and is frustrating if you leave anything
behind, so here are some tips to organize your swim-
ming supplies:
Swim Bag: During swim season, keep a swim bag
stocked at all times. Purchase a large cosmetic or toilet-
ry bag to store sun lotion, hair products, goggles, ear-
plugs, wipes, etc. This will prevent smaller items from
getting lost inside a large tote bag. It’s also a good idea
to have a jumbo sized zip bag for wet towels and suits
on the return trip home. Your swim bag should include
a change of clothes and shoes, just in case.
Check your swim bag weekly to make sure you have
enough sun lotion and other supplies that may have
run low.
Towel & Swimsuit Supply: At home, make sure you
have enough towels and swimsuits for everyone. Ide-
ally, each person will have 2 of each so that they can
use one while the other is in the laundry. You should
also designate a space for drying each suit and towel.
ORGANIZED OUTDOOR TOYS &
SPORTS EQUIPMENT
Like gardening supplies, outdoor toys and sports
equipment can create chaos if they’re not organized.
Outdoor Toys: Outdoor toys can be kept inside a
large Rubbermaid ® style bench that’s typically used
to store outdoor cushions. You can also set up a util-
ity shelf inside the shed, garage or backyard with all
of the toys stored in large Rubbermaid ® style bins.
Using good quality containers will help to keep out
insects and moisture.
Sports Equipment: There are many products avail-
able that will help to keep your sports equipment or-
ganized. After a declutter session, take inventory of
your equipment and browse online for storage ideas.
