A strategic retreat for pastors and their spouses
(if married) to help discern the impact of their
past, their current position and a map for
serving in their “sweet spot” in the future
May 12-15 and Oct. 27-30, 2014
Green Lake provides a Christcentered, collegial and safe
environment for the prayerful
and thorough evaluation of
candidates in a confidential,
caring and proficient manner.
The process is staffed with
carefully selected ministry
leaders, mental health
professionals and Green Lake
staff.
Comprehensive assessment
instruments, administered
and interpreted by licensed
professional counselors,
discern inter and intra
personal insights, emotional
intelligence, strengths,
behavioral styles and marital
health.
Due to the nature and intensity
of Second Wind, the optimal
group size for the desired end
result is between five and ten
pastors plus spouses. Second
Wind is open to all Christian
denominations.

What past participants have said
about Second Wind:
• “I wish every couple and
ministry leader could get this
kind of objective, personal
feedback about their personality,
passion, ministry, marriage,
strengths, etc. This was really
helpful to me personally in
gaining new insights and
confirming some instincts.”
• “GLCC is a nice place to do
this – facilities great! – staff
evaluators great! I felt supported
& cared about and that you
guys were lovingly trying to help
as opposed to scrutinizing.”
