# F i n d Th e S h e ep Creating Disciples in a Lost Generation Matthew 18:12-14 May 4-6, 2014 “Many of the assumptions on which we have built our work with young people are rooted in modern, mechanistic, and mass production paradigms. We need to rethink out assumptions and we need the creativity, honesty, and vitality of the next generation to help us.” -From ‘You Lost Me’ by David Kinnaman President of the Barna Group A new challenge #FindTheSheep is a new type of conference for a new type of challenge. Our challenge is to engage a generation – a generation that expects more than the established church has become. Will we #FindTheSheep or tend to the 99? Hear from millennials #FindTheSheep features engaging speakers and panel discussions with people from the 18-31 age group (millennials). Listen and ask questions of the panel as they candidly share their conceptions and understandings of church, faith, Christians and themselves. The panel will include both believing and non-believing young adults. Who should attend? Every church is invited to bring at least three people including pastor, strong leader(s) from within the congregation and at least one person who attends or is connected to the church who is in the 18-31 year old category. 20 Speaker: Greg Henson, president of Sioux Falls Seminary-Sioux Falls, SD Facilitator: Heather Henson, Director of Youth Ministries at Green Lake Cost $200 per person includes room, meals and program fee.
