Most likely due to increased scarcity in the market, single family
homes throughout Snyderville Basin saw a 21% increase in median
sales price over the last 12 months. Average sales price for single
family homes in Snyderville Basin was up 13% from $1.43 million
in Q4 2017 to $1.62 million in Q4 2018. Snyderville Basin
continues to provide a variety of opportunities to meet primary,
secondary, and Salt Lake homeowner needs. Neighborhoods such as
Silver Creek saw a 27% increase in the number of single family
homes sold with average price increasing 42% from $964,000 in Q4
2017 to $1.37 million in Q4 2018. Promontory had a strong 2018
with 68 single family homes sold though the numbers were down
10% in comparison to last year this time.
