• Organized the Enid federal legislative trip to Washington D . C . Primary topics included Vance AFB priorities , community support for Vance , Farm Bill extension , border security and regulation of agricultural land purchases .
• Organized Enid Day at the Capitol legislative meetings . Primary topics were K-12 and higher education funding , medical marijuana regulation and OK Promise eligibility for Career Tech students .
• Advocated for SB 244 which requires LOFT to determine the savings from Criminal Justice Reform and allocate the savings for mental health and substance abuse services .
• Supported legislation to provide teacher raises and increased funding for public schools .
• Supported legislation to provide commercial driver ’ s license ( CDL ) eligibility for individuals from the Marshallese community .
• Participated in Oklahoma Mid-Size Cities Coalition to advocate legislative priorities for mid-sized cities ( rural health care , regional universities & colleges ).
• Chamber Ambassadors conducted ribbon cuttings for new or expanding businesses and provided other volunteer support for the Chamber .
• Offered free email marketing for members .
• Recognized retiring teachers in Garfield County ( Common Ed and Higher Ed )
• Promoted the ENID 4 TEACHERS program which provides business discounts for teachers in the region .
• Coordinated Enid ’ s military discount program .
• Partnered with sponsors and other organizations to celebrate Enid ’ s history and heritage through the Cherokee Strip Celebration .
• 19 th Annual Candy Cane Cash promoted holiday shopping in Enid and provided $ 15,000 in cash prizes .
• NW District Jr . Livestock Show attracted over 2,500 visitors , supported youth agriculture education , and raised over $ 280,000 for premium sale exhibitors .
• Enlisted Appreciation Night provided over $ 15,000 in cash and prizes from Enid ’ s business community to support Vance Air Force Base enlisted personnel .
• Enid Chamber Committee of 100 contributions helped provide scholarships for area students to attend Northern Oklahoma College-Enid and Northwestern Oklahoma State University-Enid .
