Pleasant Ridge Elementary ( PRES ) houses preschool through second grade and enrolls approximately 525 students . It is located in the heart of beautiful Charlestown , Indiana . Students at PRES are immersed in a rich literacy and numeracy environment . Staff at Pleasant Ridge strives to create an environment where all students feel connected and safe while learning .
PRES has many business partnerships such as New Washington State Bank , McDonalds , and the Lions Club of Charlestown as well as support from Greater Clark County Schools Education Foundation . These partnerships provide the focus for the community of working together to create a culture where ALL students go on to post secondary education .
