MCheyenne’s Treasure
By: Stephanie Joy Meisner, Director of Marketing & Communication
“It is fun to explore and even live in other places, but I’ve
never found the sense of neighborhood and community
that Cheyenne provides anywhere else. People still honor
their word, handshake and honestly care about each
other and live by the Code of the West.”
Cheyenne is the Capitol of Wyoming and therefore has roots
deep in the western heritage. From the large cowboy boot
statues decorated throughout the city to the Old West Museum
to the lively Frontier Days held during July, the Cheyenne
community is filled with history. Additionally, Cheyenne,
Wyoming is a unique community because it is a wonderful place
for families. There is a lot to do with a family from enjoying the
outdoors and recreational activities when visiting the nearby
mountains. It is near a larger metropolitan area for large events,
concerts and activities. Cheyenne is a home to many and is a
true hometown community which offers an array of opportunities.
