MBuilding Business Events, Awards & More! B H G overnor Matt Mead addressed the guests at the October Luncheon Presented by Blue Cross Blue Sheild of Wyoming. He has been a wonderful advocate for small business and industry growth. He has focused on sustaining Wyoming as a healthy business climate and explained that we are now 2nd in the nation for our friendly business climate. He proudly spoke about all of Wyoming’s acheivements and further applauded Cheyenne Business Professionals on their ongoing contributions to the community. oo Ball presented by Dr. William J. Wyatt, MD is a fun October Evening featuring a silent auction, costume contests and a live band for everyone to boogie down to. This event is planned by the most recent Leadership Cheyenne Graduates. The proceeds from the 2014 Boo-tification Ball will go towards decorative bike racks which will be installed throughout the city of Cheyenne. As you can see by the photo, attendees go all out with their costumes and are extremely creative. E D T ealthWorks was established in 2005 and services the Southeast Wyoming region with all of their primary care needs. They work to promote health in body and mind. During the tour of their facility, one of their employees stated, “Our health care providers understand your needs. We serve all ages and are always accepting new patients.” They even showed us how they cater to all of the ages with fun designed children’s rooms. xpanding in our region is the oil and gas industry. The Steak & Egg Breakfast panel event featured Dennis Ellis from Anadarko Petroleum, Andrea Hixon from the Department of Workforce Services, Eric Dille from EOG, Brian Heithoff from High West Energy and Brenton Leavitt from MRC Global. Questions addressed during theluncheon were those such as, “What has changed that is driving the increased energy interest in Laramie County,” “How is the oil/gas activity affecting the workforce,” and “What are the biggest challenges for the industry.” PG 34 l Development & Growth r. Sloan Hales and Anna Marie Hales were recognized at the Circle of Champions Luncheon during the 2014 Business Week Presented by Woodhouse Roden Nethercott, LLC. They stated during the luncheon they made three great choices in life and that led them to being great resources to the community. Further, moderator Greg Dykeman ask them what their advice to everyone would be and they explained, “Give back to the community and make an impact because that is how we make a better quality of living for everyone!” he Schmooza Palooza Business to Business Expo features Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce partners who have the opportunity to share their products and services with the the business public. During the event, moderators Judy Fossum from VoiceOvers by Judy and Dallas Johnson from DALMAC Homes visited each booth and had them explain any specials and giveaways they had and also asked them about their buisness. This year, the overall prize was a Commercial Keurig provided by My office, etc.
