VCE work, receiving 2018 Premier’s Awards
at a ceremony in Melbourne on 15 May. Four
boys received Top All-Round VCE High Achiever
Awards, and four received Premier’s VCE Study
Awards. Top All-Round VCE High Achiever
Awards — presented to students who have
achieved study scores of 46 or higher in at least
five VCE studies — went to Tony Jiang, Jerry Luo,
Oliver McLeish and Angus Ritchie. Premier’s VCE
Study Awards went to Sam Champion (Australian
Politics), Tian Tian Lan (Literature), William M
Sutherland (French) and Daniel Qin (Ancient
History and English Language).
Congratulations to all the boys, who received
their awards in front of an audience of 1100.
They were among 274 students who received 302
awards across 85 subjects. While congratulating
the students on their excellent results, the Premier,
Hon Daniel Andrews MP, acknowledged the role
of parents, mentors, teachers and school leaders
whose support helped the students to reach their
high level of academic achievement.
