OSCA
PRESIDENTS
HONOURED
The OSCA Collegians club hosted the now-traditional OSCA
Presidents’ lunch at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on 27 February.
OSCA Presidents from past years attended the lunch, along with
members of the OSCA Collegians club, including the Hon David
Kemp AC ('59), Chairman of the School Council.
As usual, a feature of the lunch was an address by the current
OSCA President, James Douglas ('84). It was followed by intense
questioning and discussion about the issues facing OSCA and the
interests of Old Boys in future directions.
Club President Andrew Wilson ('78) presented presidential ties to
past OSCA Presidents who were able to attend the lunch. The ties
are based on the current Old Scotch tie, with each tie individually
embroidered in the following form: ‘46th OSCA President’. Ties will
also be presented to the Presidents who were unable to attend
the lunch.
The ties are a gift from the OSCA Collegians, and are recognition
by OSCA of the enduring importance of each President’s contribution.
