DAVID KEMP (‘59) AND BRUCE BROWN (‘60) RECEIVE OSCA’S HIGHEST AWARD THE HON DR DAVID KEMP AC ('59) AND BRUCE BROWN ('60) – THE LATEST OSCA HONORARY LIFE MEMBERS. Two Old Boys with excellent credentials for OSCA Honorary Life Membership duly received the Association’s highest award at the OSCA Presidents’ Dinner, held in the Boykett Room, Cardinal Pavilion, on 20 November 2019. Honorary Life Membership, recognising outstanding service to the Association, was awarded to the Hon Dr David Kemp AC (‘59) and Bruce Brown (‘60). They are just the 48th and 49th recipients of the award in OSCA’s 113-year history. 64 OSCA Merit Awards, acknowledging dedicated service to the Association’s clubs, societies and branches, went to Gwen Adams, John Christensen (‘58), Jan Goldsmith and James Robinson (‘83). The Presidents’ Dinner, once again a most enjoyable event, was preceded by OSCA’s 2019 annual general meeting, during which the Association's new constitution was approved and adopted. 2019 OSCA HONORARY LIFE MEMBERS The Hon Dr David Alistair Kemp AC (’59) attended Scotch from 1949 to 1959. In 1959 he was Co Editor of The Scotch Collegian, equal Dux of the School and a Prefect. David’s brother, cousins, an uncle, both grandfathers, a great-uncle, two great-grandfathers, three sons (Will ’90), Andrew (’04) and Charles (’10), nephews and great-great-uncles have attended Scotch, Great Scot Issue 159 – May 2020
