MICHAEL LAW (’ 57 ) and wife Patricia have moved back to Victoria after living at Noosa since retirement in 1998 . He told Great Scot : ‘ The stay at Sunshine Beach was prolonged due to the benefits of the best climate in Australia and the ease of club golf , but the push of advancing age , the death of son David ( Scotch 1974-85 ) and the pull of family in Melbourne prompted the move ’.
Michael found a new apartment built for seniors in Camberwell , halfway between
his two daughters and families . He recalls visiting his grandparents , who also lived in Riversdale Road in the 1950s . ‘ We are now walking streets where other relatives were born and lived , and we are not far from the Camberwell Sports Ground , now the home of OSFC , for whom six family members have played .
‘ We have adapted well to apartment living and the Melbourne climate . In my 12th year at Scotch I was awarded the Morrison House Captaincy but I ’ m now being outdone by my youngest grandson , who is School Captain of Xavier in 2023 .’
