Greeted by the melodious tones of harpist Yee Chu from Scotch ’ s Music Department , 40 members of the Scotch Foundation ’ s Forbes Society and guests gathered in the Cardinal Pavilion ’ s Boykett Room for lunch on Tuesday 28 February .

Guest of honour and guest speaker at the lunch was the Principal , Dr Scott Marsh , who said that as a new member of the Scotch Family , he was gaining an appreciation of the important contribution to Scotch made by members of groups such as the Forbes Society .

School Council Chairman , Alex Sloan (’ 71 ) and Scotch Foundation President , Associate Professor Doug Lording AM (' 64 ), also spoke at the lunch .

Doug Lording welcomed two new members of the Forbes Society – P S Lee and Don Moyes (’ 50 ) – and presented them with certificates .

The lunch was an excellent opportunity for this special group of Scotch Family members to welcome Dr Marsh to the school , and to induct two new Forbes Society members .
