A truly memorable event
We sadly said our goodbyes at the Boykett Room as they enjoyed a light lunch and a chance to chat with friends . It was a truly memorable day , cherished by both the boys and grandparents alike . ALEXANDER ANG
Grandparents ’ Day was a wonderful opportunity to show our grandparents around the School . It was amazing to hear their stories about their school and how it has changed from when they were younger .
As we showed them around , they were excited to see all the wonderful facilities that we have at Scotch College .
The first area we went to was Memorial Hall . As we walked around , we slowed down and admired the scene of this historic hall . Next , we went to the Sir Zelman Cowen Centre for Science and wandered around . They commented on how modern it looked , and we questioned each other about what the mosaic in the middle was meant to symbolise .
Overall , Grandparents ’ Day was an awesome way to show the grounds , buildings and people in the Scotch College community . Everybody loved exploring the school premises and seeing where we like to play , work and do sport . Our grandparents thoroughly enjoyed this experience and loved us giving them the tour . My grandparents ’ names are June ( my mum ’ s side ) and Pat ( my dad ’ s side ). JACKSON MCLEOD
