COVID-19 brought opportunities to reflect on what is important in our lives
I don ’ t think I will get much argument from anyone when I say that 2020 was in many ways a year we would all like to forget . For those of us living in Victoria , and particularly those in the greater Melbourne region , it was a very challenging period of our lives and one that none of us would ever wish to revisit . However , to simply try to wipe from memory all that took place in 2020 in an effort to move
on would be , in my opinion , a mistake and a lost opportunity .
I think 2020 , for all its trials and challenges , provided us with an opportunity to learn about ourselves and what is most important to us . It would appear that the old saying ‘ You don ’ t know what you have until you lose it ,’ was never more true . We lost so much that we valued throughout the dark and harsh
