TAPPING INTO THE HEARTBEAT OF SCOTCH RUGBY

ABOVE AND BELOW : PAUL TORCELLO PRODUCES ARTISTIC POSTERS TO PROMOTE SCOTCH RUGBY AND SCRUM CLUB EVENTS
An artistic contribution to Scotch and Old Scotch rugby
Before embarking on a career in advertising photography , Paul Torcello studied painting , sculpture and photography under some of Australia ’ s finest artists , and was influenced by the greatest still life photographers of the past .
Paul brought the craft of how light shapes form and his passion for rugby to Scotch when his son , Anders (’ 12 ), started Prep in 2000 .
After a number of year overseas , Anders – and Paul – returned to Scotch in 2007 , and Paul began producing posters to promote Scotch rugby events and Scrum Club fundraisers . ( The Scrum Club supports Scotch rugby .)
Since 2008 , Paul ’ s extraordinary artistic talents and enthusiasm for ‘ the game they play in heaven ’ has been a source of inspiration for Scotch rugby players and their families .
When Anders finished at Scotch in 2012 , Paul extended his genius to the Old Scotch Rugby Club , and he continues to provide artwork for the rugby club and the Scrum Club .
Paul has also produced posters for OSCA and for the 150th Head of the River celebrations in 2017
