Anyone who has been to the Gravette Food Truck Park knows that one of the most eclectic and interesting eateries is the food truck named A Lil Bit of Sugar .
“ When people stop by A Lil Bit of Sugar , they can expect to have a tastebud party ,” Lisa Wilson , owner and culinary master behind the wheel of A Lil Bit Of Sugar . “ We hear it all the time , ‘ It ’ s so hard to pick just one thing .’ We ’ ve become sort of a family with our customers through our food .”
|
You ’ ll be amazed at the selection , too , and asking yourself if you should get the Best Darn Cheeseburger in a Bag , or the Heifer and Chick , or the best catfish … that Brisket Fried Rice sounds pretty yummy , too !
“ We have such a wide menu we can satisfy any palate ,” Wilson said . “ Picky eaters , we ’ ve got you covered . Can ’ t have beef ? We ’ ve got chicken , shrimp and catfish . We literally could feed almost any dietary restriction . Our fried rice is gluten-free .”
One customer favorite that is hard to keep in supply are their Soul Rolls , a delectable

concoction of pulled pork and collard greens in an eggroll with soul sauce . And for dessert , they have four favorites : Banana Pudding Cheesecake , German Chocolate Cake , Blueberry Cake and , in the summer , Strawberry Shortcake with Cow Slobbers .
Wilson had been catering and doing food service for 35 years . She started in Orange County , California , then moved to Las Vegas . She made her way to Gravette in 2018 and opened Burntsugars food truck five years ago . About a year ago , she partnered with her mother and changed the name to A Lil Bit Of
Sugar .
“ My mother has been the backbone of my business since we partnered together ,”
Wilson said . “ She has been such a big part of A Lil Bit Of Sugar ’ s success , and I don ’ t know what I would have done without her .” Like so many other transplants from across the country who come to Northwest Arkansas ,
|
Wilson has fallen in love with her new home .
“ Gravette is one of those small communities where we get to watch each other ’ s kids grow up ,” she said . “ We all come together and help each other succeed in our goals , our work and in our families . It truly takes a village , and Gravette has a great variety of residents .
“ We love Centennial Park in Gravette . It has a caboose where the kids love to play on , and its so beautiful there ,” Wilson said . “ We have won awards since 2019 , and it ’ s because of all our customers that have gotten us there and made A Lil Bit Of Sugar successful in what we do .
“ Gravette is our home ,” she continued . “ So , if we are going to build something with all our heart and soul , we want it to be in the community that houses our heart . We want to be able to make an impact on a smaller community where it does make a difference . Plus , Gravette is a great place to live , raise a family and build a business .” A Lil Bit Of Sugar 105 First Ave . S .
