Clean up
To wash off the day’ s dust, riders head to the purpose-built showers. The ChemChampdesigned units are a triumph in rural engineering and will leave behind infrastructure that serves the host farms well beyond race week.
In the zone
Once clean and washed from the day’ s endeavours, riders can take a moment to enjoy the Hyperice Recovery Zone. The Normatec compression boots help the legs recover from the intensity of the day.
Tasty fare
Whether at the Finish Line Boma or in the Lapas, riders can enjoy real food, Amacx recovery nutrition, Vida coffee, a glass of Meerendal wine or a Castle Lite under the stars.
Tented comfort
Spacious canvas tents offer a raised Disc-O-Bed, a light with USB charging, a side table and room to stretch out. Riders will find their bags placed at their tent on arrival. Each circle of tents, or Lapa, is served by a Camp Master from the South African College of Tourism, on hand to look after rider comfort and stoke the campfire.
Full service
While recovery is underway, technicians from the Specialized Neutral Tech Support Team work steadily on bikes booked under the service package. Every detail, every squeak, every rattle, every shifting issue is resolved.
Stay connected
At the Finish Boma, riders can plug into the NTT WiFi Zone. This is the only area in the Burn Camp with connectivity.
