Burn Camp life is defined by its shared rhythm. Real food. Real coffee. Real showers. Comfortable beds and tents. WiFi. A cold( or hot) drink. A fire. It will stay with every rider long after the final finishline.
Intimate camps
The Burn Camps are temporary sites that become home, a community and a way to make connections with fellow riders between rides. Here, a series of small, intimate camp circles called Lapas accommodate around 30 riders each, bringing a sense of camaraderie around a central fire, drawing riders together to relax and share stories. With the exception of Blaauwater, where the race remains for two nights, a new Burn Camp under wide Karoo skies awaits each evening.
