2024 marked a significant milestone as the City of Arlington joined communities across the nation in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Community Development Block Grant( CDBG) program. Since its inception in 1974, the CDBG program has served as a cornerstone of federal support for cities striving to improve infrastructure, expand economic opportunity, and meet the needs of low-to moderate-income residents.
