DAY 9 • Saint John • Stonehammer Global Geopark This morning, take a walking tour of some of Saint John’ s highlights, including the historic districts, King’ s Square, and the bustling City Market. Enjoy time this afternoon to spend in Saint John at your leisure. Then we’ ll regroup and depart towards the Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark where we’ ll visit the confluence of the Saint John River and the Bay of Fundy, known as the Reversing Falls after the unique phenomenon caused by the tide, as well as the Irving Nature Park and Rockwood Park.

DAY 10 • St. Andrews excursion • Campobello Island • Whale watch Discover Campobello Island, home to Roosevelt Cottage, President Franklin D. Roosevelt’ s family summer retreat. The magnificent 34-room residence has been remarkably preserved, and is set amidst the sprawling grounds of the Roosevelt Campobello International Park. Then embark on a nature cruise and whale watch through“ one of the marine wonders of the world,” the Bay of Fundy( weather permitting). After

DAY 12 • Halifax • Lunenburg & Peggy’ s Cove Visit two picturesque destinations on the outskirts of Halifax today— Peggy’ s Cove, set on the eastern shore of St. Margarets Bay, and Lunenburg, a port town on Nova Scotia’ s scenic South Shore. The best surviving example of a British planned colonial settlement, Lunenburg’ s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its beautifully preserved architecture.
