This course is the student ' s entry level fifteen week supervised field experience . This field experience requires a minimum of 100 hours on site with 40 % of these hours being in face to face contact with clients . This field experience provides students the opportunity to integrate professional knowledge and apply their counseling skills in real life situations . Professional issues , legal issues and ethical behavior related to the counseling profession will be addressed . Emphasis is placed on applying counseling skills on the individual and group levels . strategies for the prevention and remediation of violence in |
