Primary Care VI-Middle Adult ( 30-55 Yo )
3 This course provides students with the theoretical base to assess , diagnose and manage the primary care of the middle adult ( age 30-55 ) population . Course content includes the principles of health promotion , disease prevention , and management of common primary health care problems in the diverse middle adult ( age 30-55 ) populations . Emphasis is placed on the diagnosis and management of acute episodic and chronic conditions of the middle adult ( age 30-55 ) in the context of the primary care setting and community . Evidenced based practice is utilized as the basis for primary care management and decision-making including diagnosis , appropriate diagnostic procedures , laboratory tests , and follow up care . Clinical experiences are provided in a variety of primary care settings .
