3 This course introduces students to the business and financial aspects of healthcare . Basic financial concepts and misconceptions about cost behavior , pricing and revenue , and cash flow are explored . Concepts are organized around the financial management paradigm : performance planning , performance measurement and performance management . Budgeting , and how to use performance reports and dashboards to guide performance , and how to prepare a variety of formal and ad hoc financial analyses will be addressed . Principles of facilitating , building and leading teams will be explored .

NUR-570 Advanced Assessment and Lab for Advanced Nursing Roles
3 This course builds upon the basic skills of physical assessment . Students will practice health assessment and physical examination skills in the classroom and laboratory settings . Emphasis is on clinical decision- making and differentiation of normal versus abnormal findings and the integration of the history and physical examination across the lifespan including pregnant women .
