3 This course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of action research . Its purpose , process , and steps will be reviewed . Students will learn how action research can be used to address challenges that impact student achievement and increase the development of teacher skills . This course will prepare instructional leaders to use research to identify solutions to curriculum , instruction , and teacher support and to use data to drive decisions . This course will also provide a framework of how instructional leaders can develop and share action research summary reports as a means to support change .
