My name is Elvis Geovanny Colon Chavez. I was born in La Ceiba, Atlántida on September 27th 1988, I am 27 years old. Currently, I live in Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán. For me studying Tourism and hospitaliry is important because it has many and diverse work opportunities and also, because it has its basis in tourism which is very attractive for many countries. Tourism encompasses a great variety of business, and activities that help to improve the local economy of a place or of a particular person.
In my opinion, I study the tourism career because I want to have my own business in the future. But to do so, I need to get prepared in the field. The career provides me with different knowledges. For Instance: Geography, History, Admistration, Sociology, etc. Which are necessary for me to become a professional.
Tourism is important because we can work with people of different places and cultures. When talking about tourism and hospitaliry,I think on the likes and preferences of people so that I can give then a good service. That is my desire and I want to start working on it.
