How long have you been on the Glenview 4th of July Committee ? 23 fun-filled years
Why is supporting the Glenview 4th of July important ? The 4th of July is a special day when our community comes together to celebrate the birth of our great nation . It is important that volunteers step up to fundraise and assist our talented Park District staff plan our annual cherished 4th of July parade and fireworks celebration .
What ’ s your favorite thing about the Park District ? My favorite thing about the Park District is our beautiful parks . I especially love Roosevelt Park . My two sons grew up enjoying this amazing park in Glenview across the street from our home .
What is one thing people should know about you ? I truly enjoy volunteering my time and energy to our beloved Glenview . Serving has given me the opportunity to work with dedicated and giving people who I consider dear friends . Some of these volunteer organizations include St . David ’ s Nursery School Board , Elementary School District 34 PTA , Glenview 4th of July Committee and , most recently , the Friends of Downtown Glenview . Volunteering is a meaningful way to grow and feel fulfilled while making a positive impact on your hometown .
