Junior Golf Tournaments?
DC: When I was a little boy I would
accompany my father to the Golf Course.
The game fascinated me and I was drawn
towards it.
GPJ: When did you start playing
Junior Golf Tournaments?
DC: In 2016, I participated in my fi rst
IGU Tournament held at ATS, Derabassi.
GPJ: How do you manage your time
between golf and studies?
DC: I have made a time table that helps
me to manage my time between golf and
other activities like studies.
GPJ: What has been the role of IGU?
DC: IGU has been conducting
tournaments on a regular basis which has
helped me to improve my golf skills and
also given me exposure and experience
GPJ: What are your future plans?
DC: My future plan is to further develop
my golfi ng skills and fi nally turn
professional.
GPJ: What’s in your bag?
Wedge: USKG Tour Series Sand Wedge
GPJ: How has golf helped you in your
day-to-day activity?
DC: One needs to have many attributes
to be a successful golfer, being patient
and focussed are amongst the foremost
and that is what golf has taught me to be
in my every day routine.
GPJ: Your advice to other Junior
Golfers
DC: While one has to be focused while
playing golf one should also enjoy
playing Golf at the same time.
GPJ: Tell us about your day-to-day
fi tness regime.
DC: Fitness is really important to be
an avid golfer. I regularly do day to
day walking and running along with
swimming and stretching in order to be
fi t to play good golf.

AM: I want to see myself as a professional
golfer in the coming future.

golf out of all the other sports?
AM: My father motivated me to play
golf.
GPJ: When did you start playing
junior golf tournaments?
AM: I started playing tournaments when
I was 6 years old.
GPJ: How do you manage your time,
juggling between golf and studies?
AM: I am extremely thankful to my
school - The Heritage School for being
supportive. Also, my friends have helped
me out a lot with lessons that I have been
missing due to Golf. I have to maintain
discipline so as to adhere to the timings.
GPJ: What would be your advice to
budding golfers and their parents?
AM: I am following my dream and
passion for golf which according to me
