In a town not too far from here there was a boy in the newspaper, he woke up with no teeth in his mouth. He knew nothing of what happened during his sleep. Nobody else in the town knew what happened either. Whether it was a person, or a creature of pure evil!
There was a little boy named Timmy and unfortunately he read that story and started to believe it more and more after every word.
After a couple of days he had started to become paranoid, he jumped at any noise, flinched at anything that moved and screamed at anything even remotely scary. He persuaded his parents to put a latch on the windows and lock all of the doors every night, especially his. At first they were reluctantly doing as he asked but they soon accepted it.
That same night when Timmy was going to bed he heard a quiet bang coming from the darkest, shadiest corner of his brightly coloured room. After that there was a minute amount of movement, then Timmy screamed. Surprisingly, it only took a few seconds for his parents to get into his room. Who had unlocked the door? Once he had calmed down his parents searched the room using only a dim and flickering candle flame to search his room to make him feel better, it was just a knitted stuffed animal his grandma had made for him that had fell onto the floor. Before his parents left they told him to go to bed and that monster were just made up creatures in books.
After his parents left the room heard an exaggerated, high-pitched, shrill voice coming from the unlit, hellish corner of the room saying“ Believe in monsters, or do not. They’ re real. I am real!” the mysterious voice paused dramatically“ I am monster but this is not a book nor a dream. This is real life!”
