The PGA IGI delivers Australia’s only Diploma of Golf Management qualification. The 10459NAT Diploma of Golf Management was written in consultation with the golf industry, and has been a platform for individuals looking to commence their careers in golf or further their progression in to new supervisory and management roles. “After much development, we introduced the Diploma of Golf Management via E-Learning in early 2017,” explained Straw. “We have seen students who couldn’t study through on campus learning begin studies in their desired qualification.” “Along with this, we have seen an increase in new students who are currently working within the golf industry looking to utilise the strength of the program for future career progression in to supervisory and management positions at golf clubs.” The Diploma of Golf Management (E-Learning) focuses on the business, management and operations for the golf industry. It is a study program for individuals looking to broaden and further enhance their knowledge of all areas of golf. The qualification will look in to areas of the golf industry such as: - Golf course operations - Managing competitions, tournaments and events - Food and beverage operations - Golf club management - Staff management - Creating a safe workplace - Managing budgets and finances With the qualification covering multiple areas of the business of golf clubs, it can provide a platform for multi-skilled individuals within your golf club. This enables individuals to understand all areas of the business and not just the one department they specialise in. Students will receive access to the Fairway, the PGA IGI’s online learning platform. This will become your student hub for all your learning during your study. Flexible intake dates are available for students looking to commence in our e-learning programs, allowing new students to begin study at a time that best suits their needs.
