Destination: Cape Town

Today you will play on the Steenberg Golf Course.
At the back of Table Mountain lies this Peter
Matkovich designed course. It features 4 distinct
areas: Parklands, Wetlands, The Cape Flats and
Fynbos. Various water features, big bunkers, angled
slopes on the fairways and narrow greens make the
course a real challenge to play.
You can enjoy at leisure or optionally go on a trip to
the Cape of Good Hope
On a drive through rugged landscape you finally reach
Cape of Good Hope, the most south-western tip of the
African Continent. It is it is no wonder that the
Portuguese sea farers called the cape “Capo
Tormentoso”, meaning the Cape of Storms
The Old Lighthouse at Cape Point offers a
spectacular viewing platform over False Bay. It takes
approx. 30 minutes to walk from the visitor’s car park
to the Lighthouse summit, or a few minutes on the
funicular railway.
