teach bad mannered
golfers how to behave re-
spectfully while golfing?
We are looking for fair
play golfers to become
teachers in our new
“Golfers Good Manners
Training Camp”.
Is it just me or is it hap-
pening to other golf-
ers? There seems to be
an increase of ignorant
bad-mannered complain-
ers on the golf courses.
What gives?
I golf to enjoy myself
while exercising outdoors
in a competitive sport

according to suitable fair play rules.
However, it is not always possible
when annoying, pain in the butt
golfers hit the links.
Here’s my beef; why do grumbling,
rude, foul-mouthed, whining folks
often use a golf course to expose
their ill-mannered behavior? It
seems their good sense if they have
any has left home for want of a
place to complain. It’s too bad we
don’t have bad-manner detection
devices to weed out rude players
that are troublemakers.
Rather than become a big-mouth
complainer myself, I decided to
make a conscious effort to carry out
my own research on the subject and
do something positive to get to the
root of the problem.
After spending hours and hours of
my valued golfing time studying the

difference between courteous and
rude golfers on the links, it was an
eye-opener.
Surprisingly the rude golfers were
behaving appallingly on purpose. I
believe they came from the “Rude
Golfer’s Swamp Of Entitlement”.
Somehow due to its unacceptable
teachings, the swamp became
overrun with a new more advanced
bunch of golfing rabble-rouser fa-
natics. They were extremely coarse
and bad mannered.
Things got out of control and the
original inhabitants went on a mass
departure to get away from the
invading dastardly, discourteous,
troublemaking golfers. Guess what
readers? They resettled into numer-
ous golf course neighborhoods and
use our fair play golfing establish-
ments to carry out their bad man-
ners to the fullest.
