Youth G Hi Guys and haveirls gone. Holidays have come and Can you believe it! Camps come and gone. And so back into the rut of life we go again. NO WAYS! Life is for living whether we're on holiday or in the middle of our exams. One thing I came away from Camp with is that when we have a relationship with the Lord Jesus, then when life gets all hectic around us, we are able to have peace in our hearts and joy in our souls. Now that doesn't mean everything will be hunky dory and life will be super easy. Sometimes we do go through stuff that makes us feel like our hearts are being ripped out and stomped on. But in those moments remember that the Lord allows this stuff to happen so that it will teach us to rely on Him and run to Him when life gets tough. I mean, imagine if life was always a jol. We would never realise how much we need the Lord, and we would cruise on our own mission without realising that there is a high calling that God wants us to live for. So chin up. Run to the Lord when life gets too much and find peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Rom 5 v 1) And always remember that God has made a special place for you in the Church so let Him show you where you fit into His plans so you can get involved with His high calling! A cool place to find out where you fit in is at Youth which happens on Friday in most Churches. Ask your Youth Leader if your Church has a Family Service or Bible study and go to that too. At my Church we sometimes have our whole Senior Youth at the Family Service – and they're growing so much in their relationship with Jesus! Camp Reunion is just around the corner too, so make sure you get to Waterfall on 23 August to get your Camp DVDs and meet up with your Camp mates again. And even if you didn't go to Camp last time, come along too and be blessed in the friendship of other guys and girls who also love the Lord Jesus! Till next month. Kilo (Craig Hemphill) 25
