heffield based Bring
Me The Horizon
are set to celebrate
their ten year anniversary
as a band next year. When
the band then teenagers
rocked onto the rock scene
they weren’t taken seriously
by everyone even after
their debut album release
‘Count Your Blessings’. Nine
years later the story reads
very differently with their
latest album ‘Sempiternal’
receiving critical acclaim
and even a spot in the UK
Album Chart at number 3!

are beginning to become
somewhat veterans at
Reading and Leeds Festivals
with 2013 marking their
fourth performance at
the bank holiday weekend
festival. Their festival
virginity was taken in 2008
when Avenged Sevenfold
pulled out of Reading due
to illness and naturally
the crowd were sceptical.
The following year saw a
far better reception when
they played on the Festival
Republic Stage sandwiched
between Atreyu and
headliners The Blackout.
2009 saw guitarist Curtis
Ward leave the band with
Jona Weinhofen only
standing in as touring
guitarist at this time.
2011 saw the band creep
part way up the main stage
bill and the band seemed at
the top of their game after
the release of ‘There Is A
Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen
It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s
Keep It A Secret’ but 2013
see’s the steel city band
