you looking forward To playing reading & leeds THis year? Really looking forward to it, as we do every year! Its like a summer time tradition for us now, I think it’s the 6th year in a row I have played reading and leeds and the 5th time with Gallows. Its just a good opportunity for us to catch up with lots of friends in other bands at the end of the summer and usually see out what is a busy time of the year with a great party. wHaT are your Top 3 fesTival survival Tips? and is THere anyTHing sHould noT forgeT To bring? Top 3 Tips To survive: 1 Know when it’s time to go to bed. By all means party hard late into the night, but you don’t want to be that last guy left on his own stumbling into tents and babbling incoherently the next day. You’ve got 3 days to get through, pace yourself! 2 Come prepared and don’t buy drugs off strangers: Festivals are a place where inevitably people will experiment with soft drugs, if you think that’s likely to be you, just be aware that when buying drugs off strangers you have no idea what is in them or the harm it can do you and your friends. Ask yourself if its worth it? 3 BABY WIPES...BRING BABY WIPES. don’T forgeT: Most importantly your ticket! I know a few people that has happened to, after travelling a long way and I can’t imagine there’s much worse than that. Loo roll and wellies you can find on site if needed, but you’re going nowhere without your ticket! besT Hangover cure? For me, something cold, like Ice lollies or a Slush Puppie tend to help me out. That and a fistful of Advil! wHaT’s THe funniesT THing THaT’s ever Happened To you aT reading & leeds? Funniest thing was probably watching some poor soul entering a porter loo before some git pushed it over with the chap inside it...Terrible really and we shouldn’t’ laugh.. are you Hoping To caTcH any bands THis year? Yeah loads, there are a ton of cool bands playing, especially on the same stage as us, particularly our friends in Feed The Rhino and Palm Reader. I’m really looking forward to their sets on the lock up stage. your Top Tip for ‘one’s To waTcH’? It’s got to be Mallory Knox hasn’t it? First time playing and opening the main stage.
