The punk and hardcore scene has seen its fair share of photographers. There was a little
time there when it seemed every aspiring hardcore kid who couldn’t play an instrument
was taking photos at shows and posting them on the ‘o?cial photography’ page. Thomas
Hancock is a young dude from the streets of Western Sydney who has managed to overcome this trend at hardcore shows and express why his artwork is worth man than the
rest. Thomas also plays bass for a new hardcore outfit Bad Deeds who are starting to get
more shows and a little bit of buzz around the scene. While his mixed media approach to
photography (film and digital) has traditionally covered bands on stage it is only recently
that he has branched out from this. His new series of online posting explore the world of
